A true team player.
Head of Circular Economy Strapping Solutions – what reads like a tongue-twister is the job title of Harald Frühwirth. The friendly gentleman in the light blue shirt is an absolute organizational talent and gets to live out this gift every day. His job involves meetings with colleagues and suppliers, conferences, business trips, and overseeing trials on production machines.
Like a conductor (he likes to compare himself this way), he orchestrates the collaboration of various departments to keep the circular economy running endlessly in the "better.collect" project. What doesn’t quite work: watering his office plants. But even without a green thumb, Harald goes home satisfied at the end of the day – with nice colleagues and a meaningful task, he has found his "T" at Teufelberger!
better.collect - an endless cycle.
The "better.collect" project is essentially Harald's main task at Teufelberger. He is building a functional circular economy, creating logistics concepts, and examining recovery factors. This also involves giving presentations, networking, and thinking outside the box.
In short, the project represents a new life for plastic strapping bands. Unfortunately, a strapping band cannot be reused multiple times because it loses tension and, therefore, safety during use. So, Teufelberger collects used strapping bands, processes the collected material, and manufactures new strapping bands from the 100% recyclable raw material. In this way, the globally successful company makes a significant contribution to reducing plastic waste and simultaneously supports a future with less waste.
