Slavko Bilanovic

Why does Slavko Bilanovic's working day end exactly as it begins? The 42-year-old shift supervisor tells us why in his video. Find out for yourself and discover what he has “found” for himself at Teufelberger!

...
A job that connects.

When a month turns into nearly 18 years, you've definitely found the right employer. Now, Slavko wants to stay at Teufelberger until his retirement. The open and skilled tiler has been a shift supervisor in the Fiber Rope production for about 2.5 years, and he starts his workday with a tour of the production hall. Here, he checks if all machines are running correctly, and if any issues arise, his craftsmanship comes into play – after all, he wanted to be an auto mechanic as a child.

But it’s not just the daily work that connects him with his colleagues – they also meet regularly in their free time. He believes this balanced work-life harmony has played a significant role in helping him find his "T" at Teufelberger: being a real team player. However, there’s one thing he still wants to achieve: to finally climb with the ropes produced in-house.

Production – the heart of a company.

Anyone who thinks that a workday in the Fiber Rope division's production is monotonous is greatly mistaken. In the production hall for fiber ropes at the Wels site, there are all kinds of machines that need to be maintained and kept running every day.

A key part of the typical tasks for production workers is quality assurance and monitoring machines and equipment. This also involves cleaning, controlling, and operating them. That’s why it’s important for colleagues to have craftsmanship skills and be able to independently fix small issues. That’s why it’s especially valuable when colleagues bring practical skills and can confidently handle small repairs themselves — a perfect fit for team members like Slavko, who enjoy hands-on work and love putting their skills to good use. Of course, fun isn’t missing in the production hall either – and after a cup of morning coffee, everything runs like a machine: smoothly and efficiently.
